Message from Clare
There are a lot of couples and adolescents who struggle with communication and participation in real relationships. They want to engage and feel known by the people around them, but often life stress, family issues and lack of self awareness contribute to unhealthy patterns of interaction.
If this is you, you might find yourself living in frustration without the tools to navigate arguments, passivity or connection. Maybe the anxiety surrounding your circumstances is causing reactive conversations that either blow up in your face or cause you to suppress your emotions.
But now, as you watch this video, you may be in a position where it can no longer go unaddressed and you need extra support.
I believe that healing is possible. Not only do I believe you can access it, but also that you can live into it, without the fear of old patterns taking over your life.
I specialize in helping families, couples and adolescents work through their chaos. Each individual carries their own unique story and my mission is to aerate those closed chambers of both griefs and joys and to hospitably nurture lasting relational well being.
When I work with clients, I take a collaborative approach to their personal growth.
Here’s how you can get started with counseling:
First, click on the schedule appointment button or give us a call.
Then, fill out the new client appointment form.
Lastly, someone on our team will reach out to you to schedule your first appointment and answer any questions you may have.
Therapy is not fancy. It’s hard work that takes intentionality..and it is so worth it. I’m excited to start this journey with you.
3 Ways to Co-Parent with a Narcissist
Co-parenting is a stressful and often overwhelming task. Adults who are sharing the duties and responsibilities of raising a child either in a separation or divorce participate in a delicate dance encompassing a variety of emotions.
4 Aspects of Healthy Grieving
When it comes to healthy grieving many people want to be back to normal as soon as possible. They often have uncomfortable feelings and desire to escape the negativity that might remind them of their sadness. Many people try to hide from their pain by forcing normal daily routines or pretending that things are fine.
Cedar Tree's Mission:
There are a lot of broken families who struggle to do life well together.
That’s why we help families create an environment where deeper connection & healing can happen.
