Message from Drew
I believe that counseling can be a corrective emotional experience where we are free to explore, question, and experience acceptance. As a counselor, it’s my hope to provide a space in which individuals, couples, and families can move toward congruence and agency. I facilate a space where clients can learn to deal gently with inner parts of themselves that seek to manage pain, shame, or guilt and address behaviors that are no longer serving them.
I use a Person-Centered approach and believe that the experience of acceptance is essential for true therapeutic work to be accomplished.
I love playing the piano and try to do it every day. I also started knitting recently and am working on perfecting the scarf (a straight line). I also have a cat with asthma.
Cedar Tree's Mission:
There are a lot of broken families who struggle to do life well together.
That’s why we help families create an environment where deeper connection & healing can happen.
