Child & Family Therapist
Every parent wants to provide a rich environment in which their child can play, explore, grow and thrive. But it can be hard, tiring, and confusing work!
Maybe things haven’t gone the way you thought they would. It may be that your child’s angry outbursts, anxiety, or challenges at school are driving you to seek support.
Maybe you are a foster or adoptive parent, hoping to provide healing for a child who has experienced trauma. The parenting journey can be lonely and anxiety-producing at times.
This makes sense, because our children are the most precious cargo that we carry, yet we often don’t feel like we have a guide.
I work with parents and children to build bridges and lasting connections. I will help you understand your child’s confusing behaviors, empower you to be your child’s emotional guide, and help you build effective patterns of communicating and relating to one another.
I utilize therapeutic play to help you and your child manage the stressors in your child’s life and build resiliency, so that your family can continue to grow, play and explore together.
If you want to build meaningful connections with your child and move beyond feeling stuck in how to help your child, give me a call today. Aberttucci [at] cedartreecounseling.com (630) 797-9872 x704
