Message from Sam
Through our life journey, whether in marriage or with family and friends, we long to have loving and trusting relationships.
Despite these hopes, there’s a rupture in the relationship: whether there’s betrayal, unmet expectations, or a breakdown in communication. This often leaves us feeling frustrated and wondering if there’s any hope for healing.
I believe that no matter where you are, with help, you can find a path forward to overcome the obstacles in your life and relationships.
Getting started with counseling is straightforward:
First, fill out the new client intake form. A link can be found below this video.
Second, we’ll work with you to set up your first appointment.
Third, you’ll begin the counseling process where I’ll provide a safe space to navigate these challenges, together.
If you would like to explore these challenges and move forward on building love and trust in your most important relationships, schedule an appointment today.
Uncover the Benefits of Your Multicultural Identity
Though you may not often think about it, culture is a huge part of your identity. Culture is the work of many generations of people figuring out how to live in their own identities. This culture is a beautiful representation of human growth.
4 Toxic Communication Patterns
Conflict is a normal part of all relationships. Though many may think that conflict is what leads to destruction of a relationship, this is not the case. Although conflict may not kill a relationship, there are four communication patterns that are so toxic that they symbolize the end of a relationship.
2 Ways to Avoid The Cycle of Shame
In our lives, the feeling of shame can prevent us from moving forward. We build up expectations for our lives according to our communities and society. When we do not meet these expectations, we are plagued by a sense of failure. This shame can push us to feeling stuck in our relationships and our lives.
Cedar Tree's Mission:
There are a lot of broken families who struggle to do life well together.
That’s why we help families create an environment where deeper connection & healing can happen.
