Frequently Asked Questions

How do we pay?

All co-pays, deductibles, and private pay fees are expected to be paid in full at the time of the service unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

The full fee for the first intake session is $200, and the full fee for a 55-minute session is $175.

Payment is accepted in the form of cash, check, or credit card (Visa & Mastercard). Regardless of your preferred payment form, we require a credit card to be on file as a contingency for late cancellations or missed sessions. As a healthcare provider, we also accept payment through a Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA).

Do you accept insurance?

We are in-network with BCBS PPO, UHC PPO, and AETNA PPO insurance plans and our office bills these plans directly for any servuces rendered. You are responsible for any co-pay or services not covered by your plan.

We can, upon request, provide you with receipts and a coded visit bill (called a “super bill”) which you may submit to your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement. We encourage you to check with your insurance regarding the specifics of your policy.

If you’d like to know more about how to determine your insurance coverage, please see our Client’s Guide to Verifying Insurance Coverage.

We are committed to you & your family’s privacy, their confidentiality, and want you to have complete control over their health records. Submitting a mental health invoice for reimbursement carries a certain amount of risk to your confidentiality, privacy, and future as it may impact hiring and life insurance in certain cases.

Do you offer reduced rates?

We offer reduced rates for those who are experiencing financial hardship and are not covered by insurance. Your rate will be based on family income and circumstances, and can be discussed with your therapist.

Please mention to our intake coordinator if you are seeking a reduced rate.

Services for reduced rates are typically provided by our clinical interns.

Who do I contact with billing questions?

Questions about your bill can be directed to our Billing Department.

They can be reached by phone at (630) 797-9872 Ext.1 or through email at [email protected].

The Three P’s of Your First Visit

Paperwork

Be sure to complete all the required intake paperwork found in your client portal.

If you have any questions about the paperwork, you can contact our intake coordinator or your therapist.

Parking

Our Geneva and Hinsdale offices both have spacious parking lots. Our Oak Park office does not have a lot, so be sure to allow time to locate street parking or nearby garage parking.

You will be prompted to enter all your payment information before the intake session. If you are paying with check or cash, you may do so at the end of the session. As a healthcare provider, we accept Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA).
