Message from Jonelle

We all want to live our lives freely and unhindered.

Whether you are a child, adolescent, young adult or parent, you know this isn’t easy. We often find ourselves overwhelmed, sad, or anxious and simply trying to hold it all together as we navigate the demands of our day-to-day lives.

Whether it’s the resurfacing of past loss, hurts, difficult family dynamics or present stressors, life transitions or the buildup of little things over time, it can feel like we are all simply trying to survive.

The good news is you do not have to navigate the uncertainty of life alone.

I’m Jonelle Cook, a therapist at Cedar Tree Counseling.

For the past 6 years, I have worked with children, adolescents, and families in all seasons of life and I am here to listen to your story, join you where you are, and walk alongside you, providing tools and support as you learn to thrive rather than simply survive.

Here’s how you can get started with counseling today.

First, click on the “Schedule Appointment” button and fill out the new client appointment form.

Second, someone on our team will reach out to you to book your first appointment.

Third, you or your child will start counseling and begin to experience real change.

One of my favorite quotes from G.K. Chesterton is, “One sees great things from the valley, only small things from the peak”.  It is a reminder that often in the midst of our darkest seasons – the valleys that we all face- we gain the largest perspective.  In these valleys, there lies an invitation to reflect, heal and grow more resilient.

So, if you are ready to move out of the overwhelm and exhaustion that comes with trying to hold it all together and, instead, live a life free and unhindered, I invite you to schedule your first appointment.

I look forward to hearing your story.

3 Ways to Combat Our Growing Anxiety & Depression

The pandemic has raised our levels of anxiety and depression as we are on high alert at the first sign of our child’s runny nose, at the thought of meeting a friend for coffee or even just going to the grocery store.
